Mission:  We are  lay ministers of the parish assigned and approved by our Diocesan Bishop to visit ,pray with and bring Holy Communion to Our Sacred Heart Parish Homebound Parishioners . We keep our Pastor up to date regarding our visits and special  requests  for Confession and Anointing when desired. We are that arm of our Parish Family who make it known to those we visit that they are loved , respected and not alone.
 
Membership / Participation:  You must be an installed Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist in our parish.  We visit with the homebound, listen to them, and pray with them.  This may be every week, twice a month, once a month, or only occasional, depending on the individual’s situations and needs.  We may also meet occasionally with one another to share experiences and to update information.  Additional “Friendly Visitors” who are not ordained Eucharistic Ministers but are interested in visiting our homebound would also be greatly appreciated!
