Mission: The Catholic Church’s RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) seeks to bring the unbaptized, non-Catholic, and the unconfirmed Catholic into a lifelong personal relationship with Christ in the Church He has built for all.
Participation: Well informed practicing Catholics who have a heart for Jesus and His Church are needed to serve as sponsors or team members. They assist the RCIA director and chaplain in organizing, planning, and conducting the catechetical, liturgical, and pastoral services of RCIA in service to our Lord and those seeking full Communion in His Church. Weekly sessions are held typically on Sunday mornings from 9:30am - 11:00am at the Rectory, augmented by occasional guest speakers, special liturgical events and Holy Week services. They are held during a period of many months, with markedly fewer sessions held during the candidates “neophyte year” (the first year after their Confirmation.)
How to Join: Contact the Director of RCIA, Kelly Jefferson at (508) 943-3140
